"SOS Children's Villages - Azerbaijan" Association was founded in 1999 according to the agreement signed between "SOS Children’s Village International” and Azerbaijan government. The main purpose of the organization is providing family based care to the children deprived from parental care as well as implementation of different activities aimed to provide children social welfare. Currently a number of social and educational projects successfully have being implemented within SOS Children's Villages Baku and Gandja.

NATIONAL DIRECTOR ASSISTANT

ND Assistant supports National Director and project leaders in a team building and development, ensuring that they have adequate support to work efficiently. She/he responsible for the providing professional-level administrative, operational services, also for the coordination of office activities to secure efficiency and compliance to organizational policies. As her/ his work is public-oriented she/he has to be friendly, polite, professional and operative.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To assist National Director during the preparation and implementation/review of the Annual Plan of the Association
- To schedule meetings, travels/visits and appointments
- To set visa/ticket issues for international guests as well as local employees
- To record/prepare minutes of Board, General Assembly and National Management Team meetings and send them to the members
- To control fulfilment of resolutions accepted in the meetings and to inform National Director about
the status of their implementation
- To do translations for the national director (az-eng-az)
- To receive quarterly and annual reports from projects
- To manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- To support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
- To keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- To assist employees in developing and implementing plans and goals for the organization
To support National Sponsorship Coordinator in sending the parcels for children from the international sponsors and provision of the sponsorship letters of the children to the nearest post office
- Fulfil duties as assigned by the National Director
YOUR PROFILE:
- High education
- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as an office manager/administrator, or relevant role
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills; social competencies
- Knowledge and mastery of business communication techniques
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Full time employment contract- V days; 09:00- 18:00
Area - Baku city (str. 137/1 Nizami, near 28 May metro/st.)
Gross salary – 800-900 AZN (Will be determined during the final interview)
