Vacancy: Local Project Manager (LPM)
Qualifications and skills
- preferably 5 years of previous professional experience in relevant project management in Azerbaijan.;
- project management experience is mandatory
- IFI procurement experience in comparable projects would be an asset;
- proficiency in written and spoken English;
- knowledge of requirements of Azerbaijani legislation concerning construction, financial, accounting and disbursement issues; and
- knowledge of Azerbaijani.
Role in the assignment:
The local PM shall act as a deputy team leader and shall provide hands-on support to the PM in all of his/her tasks.
The LPM will be expected to add value to the assignment by utilising his/her knowledge of local conditions and regulations and shall act as a main liaison with the Client and other local stakeholders.
The LPM shall follow the PM’s guidance on discharging his/her duties.
