| Mission |
The main mission of ERC in the coming years is to continue our effort to create a full-time faculty of economics. The second mission of ERC is to contribute to the upgrading of economics teaching and research in the rest of Azerbaijan through an active outreach program. In addition to these primary missions ERC will continue to provide the public sector and the growing market economy in Azerbaijan with professional economists, and to offer them a long-term program of continued education and training for their work. ERC is an example of the proper way for the West to cooperate with Azerbaijan in its process of establishing a democratic market economy and a civic society. ERC provides an essential body of knowledge and training that is almost absent in Azerbaijan . |
