CITIZENS WHOSE RIGHTS ARE VIOLATED
APPLY TO
THE HUMAN RIGHTS LEGAL CLINIC

Young Lawyers' Union
as a local implementing partner of OSCE implements Human Rights Legal Clinic
project. We want to mention that till this day 18 persons applied to the Human
Rights Legal Clinic. From the appliants 7 are men, 11
women.
These are
mainly the following infringements:

Infringements concerning labour rights;
-
Infringements concerning housing rights;
-
Infringements concerning property rights;
- Divorce;
-
Infringements coming out during judicial processes in court instances;

Bureaucracy and procrastination in courts;
Law student
working in the Clinic provide free legal assistance for complainants. So, they
provide assistance for all the necessary procedural rules in the important
stages before trial to be observed. Moreover, the principles of complaints to
the European Court of Human Rights have been explained to the applicants and
legal assistance have been provided to some of the
applicants in complaining to the European Court of Human Rights.
The legal
consulting was provided to complainants in preparation of appeals and requests
to various state bodies, concerning their rights and obligations and other
issues as well. Also within the framework of the Human Rights Legal Clinic,
regular meetings of experienced lawyer, member of Collegium
of Advocates Presidium, Namizad Safarov
with law students were conducted. During these meetings consultants of the
Clinic discussed some issues with Namizad Safarov, and got comprehensive answers to the questions
arising during legal consulting. These meetings are very useful for increasing
the quality of legal assistance and for the training and formation of young
experts.

that Human Rights Legal Clinic continues its activity.
